Red tea with fixation in the sun. Pressed into pancakes of one hundred grams. Dry Sheet color palette: brown, green, gold with shades of red. When warming up, the breath resembles the white tea of the Mei Show. The dry leaf exudes a sweet aroma of flowers, fruits, honey. The slight sourness of the apple and citrus suggests that this is Shai Hong. Shaikhuns are a category of red teas, where the final drying of the tea leaf is performed in the sun, and not in a drying cabinet (oven), as in the «classic» Dian Hong. In this tea, a leaf with a characteristic fragrant berry aroma retains more moisture and enzymes. Shaikhun, like Sheng Puer, has the potential for further changes in the aging process: the taste will add roundness, honeyiness and depth, and the effect will be smoothness and strength. To understand the subtleties of the taste and aroma of Shaikhun, we recommend using the straits method. To brew a spill, take 5-6 grams of tea per 100 ml of water. Water 90-95C° gives a reddish-copper infusion. Brew in short spills of 6-10 seconds to taste, gradually increasing the exposure time with each spill. Tea can withstand at least 5-6 spills. Taste: thick, buckwheat-honey, soft, fragrant, with juicy, dried fruits and berries in the aftertaste. Aroma: honey, fragrant, berry-dried fruit. Tea is easy to drink and also gently invigorates. Warms the body, clears the vision, intoxicates.
